The Murphy School Family Council (SFC) needs Homeroom Family Leads. You’ll connect the SFC with families in your child’s class and share SFC events and opportunities. It’s an important but simple volunteer role to boost family involvement.

The Murphy SFC Annual Coffee Cake Sale is going on now. Cakes will be available for pick-up on April 1 and 2, just in time for the Easter holiday. A portion of each sale will support the Murphy—your purchase helps fund programs and resources for our school community. We hope you will participate. We’ve made things easier than ever with an online ordering option this year.

Bring the kids and join us to brighten the Murphy grounds this Spring. All are welcome.

Over the next few months we’re seeking community partners and donations to make this day a success. We need items and support such as:

Mulch & Local plants

Volunteer landscaping crews or landscapers donating time

Dumpster or waste removal services

A local artist to help design and paint a mural

Tools (rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows) and gloves

Refreshments for volunteers (water, coffee, snacks)
