The Murphy School-Family Council is a partnership to enriching educational experiences for students

The Murphy School Family Council is a vital part of our school community, working in partnership with the Boston Public School System. In the Boston Public School District, school-parent councils are dedicated to creating a strong bridge between parents, teachers, and the school administration. Our goal is to ensure every child has a supportive and engaging learning environment, and we believe that active parent involvement is key to making that happen.

At Murphy, the School-Family Council is committed to going above and beyond what the district provides. We focus on enhancing our school’s facilities and funding enriching programs that directly benefit our students. This includes supporting in-school music programs, organizing meaningful field trips, and funding other activities that inspire curiosity and love of learning. We are passionate about giving our children every opportunity to thrive, and together, we work tirelessly to make Murphy School a warm, welcoming, and vibrant place for every student to succeed. We need your help!
